Questions

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep your existing number. Calls you don't answer are forwarded to ReplyFast, which sends the text. Customers still ring the number they already have.

What about my voicemail?

Your voicemail keeps working as normal if you want it to. ReplyFast also texts the caller, because many people hang up rather than leave a message.

What does the text say?

A short, friendly message in your business name, along the lines of: "Sorry we missed your call, we're on a job. What do you need help with? We'll call you back shortly." We agree the wording with you before anything goes live.

Is it legal to text people who called me?

Replying to someone who has just contacted you about a job is a service message, not marketing, so it is generally fine under UK rules (PECR and UK GDPR). ReplyFast does not send promotional texts and never adds callers to mailing lists.

How do I cancel?

Just tell us. There's no contract and no cancellation fee. We switch off the forwarding with you and you're back to normal.

What happens to my customers' data?

We only keep what's needed to send the reply and show your callback list (number, name if given, their message). It is stored on servers in the EU, never sold and never used for our own marketing. See the privacy notice.
